Building Communication & Feeding Skills
Speech and feeding therapy support children with special needs in developing the skills they need to communicate effectively and eat safely. Speech therapy focuses on improving speech sounds, language development, social communication, and alternative methods of communication when needed. Feeding therapy helps children who have difficulty chewing, swallowing, transitioning to new textures, or meeting nutritional needs, including children with feeding tubes or oral aversions.
Through individualized, play-based approaches, therapists work closely with families and medical providers to build confidence, strengthen skills, and support progress at each child’s pace. Our goal is to help every child gain greater independence, comfort, and success in daily life while empowering families with guidance they can continue at home.
